The great thing is that players are not locked into maximizing all aspects of the park if they do not want to. But how much will this trip cost to develop? It may not be a sustainable business decision to continue this journey, so it’s your job to balance fun and profit (which happens to be a great analogy for making video games). The whole premise is a constant give-and-take, which balances visitors’ joy in ensuring that the park generates enough money.įor example, if you make an impressive trip that towers over everything anyone has seen before, it will do so no doubt be funny. Or, as Creative Director Johannes Reithmann describes Reverse, “What if you could be shot out by a cannon all over the park?”īut beyond the creation component is the management aspect, which allows you to run the theme park while ensuring that it is a profitable business. Maybe you want a Kraken to juggle submarines found on a children’s trip.
Maybe you want to connect several Ferris wheels to each other to create a giant rotating loop of destruction. The main goal in Park Beyond is to make the craziest trips possible – even if they are not possible in real life.
#A PARK BEYOND PC#
Often games like these are designed with PC in mind, however Park Beyond will be available from a control perspective, even on the console. When it comes to the creation aspect, Limbic aims to make it as user-friendly as possible across all platforms. Both are intertwined through the 30-hour single-player campaign, which will include choice-based quests that give you the agency to create what you want. There will be two main game components: the park creation and the management aspect. Here you can see how easy it is to make coaters.
